When you consider getting business coaching you look into it hoping to find out if it will truly benefit you. Most competent business coaches don’t really know how to explain everything they do so they may tend to “puff” just a bit.
Business coaching is meant to accomplish two things — satisfaction in your work and results. So how do you know you will get those two things with the business coaching you are thinking about?
Sometimes you just don’t know how coaching will work for you until you try it. But, here’s the problem; many business coaches want you to sign a contract, some for up to a year. But how do you know if it will work for you? You don’t. So, don’t sign anything, at least, not long term.
If you can’t try it before you buy it, don’t commit.
In fact, some of the best salesman of a product are often the worst at customer service. So, if it sounds too good to be true, be hesitant. Avoid signing up on an emotional high. Try out an appointment before you sign up for anything. By then, you will begin to know if that’s the best coach for you or the best model to use.
In time, you certainly will start to realize how much business coaching can do for you.
